ScopeX is an augmented reality (AR) application developed by MAGGLE Creative, a digital studio based in Wellington, New Zealand. ScopeX uses the the camera on your smartphone or tablet to digitally impose customised AR experiences over the camera lense view. While using the ScopeX app we collect information based on user interactions with our AR content to improve what content we bring you and increase engagement.
Information we collect when you use ScopeX
While the ScopeX app is in use we collect information on the experiences you use and how you have used them. Activity information that is collected using ScopeX:

We do not collect personal identifying information. We do not collect any images or videos from your camera view or screenshots taken.
Access to Camera and photo gallery
ScopeX requires access to your devices camera to be able to track images or detect spatial planes in augmented reality. ScopeX requires access to your photo gallery to be able to save screenshots taken using ScopeX.
How we use the information we collect
We use the information we collect using ScopeX to give us feedback on customised content and how it is being interacted with, to optimize the content we bring you. We will only share information with third parties that we collaborate with on particular experiences - to assess how an AR experience performing. We do not collect personal identifying information or share any information with third parties that does not explicitly relate to a collaboration or content hosted by the third party.
Third party content
ScopeX hosts third-party content and links to third-parties. Third party integrations may include: links to third party websites, and third party branding and information. By clicking on these links you may give information to third parties, ScopeX analytic services or both. We are not responsible for how third parties collect or store your information. Always refer to the privacy policies of every third party and ensure you understand what information is collected about you and how it is collected.
Location Services
ScopeX does not track your location unless prompted to do so. ScopeX uses location data to provide location specific AR content and experiences. Location information can be turned off for ScopeX in your device settings but you will not be able to access location specific promotions and content. ScopeX does not collect location data or store information about location tracking.
Updates/changes
This document is updated regularly and as necessary as ScopeX features are updated and new content is added. Updates to this document will be advised when the app is updated or through in app notifications.
